Effective date: October 2026. This policy explains what information VidYTMP4 (vidytmp4.site) handles when you use our tools, and why. We have written it in plain language on purpose.
Many VidYTMP4 utilities — above all our creator calculators — process your input locally in your own browser using your device's resources. In those cases, the content you enter is not uploaded to our server, and we have no access to it. Some tools remember your last input locally in your browser (for example in local storage) purely for your convenience; you can clear this at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Downloader tools work differently: to fetch a video file, an MP3 or video information, our server must request that content from the platform on your behalf. When you use one of these tools:
VidYTMP4 does not require registration. We do not ask for your name, password or payment details, and we never ask for the credentials of your accounts on other platforms. We do not sell personal data to anyone.
If you email us, we will see your email address and the contents of your message, and we will use them only to read and respond to your enquiry.
Like almost every website, our server automatically records standard technical logs — such as IP address, browser user agent, pages requested and timestamps. These logs are used for security, abuse prevention and day-to-day operations, and are retained for a limited period before being rotated or deleted.
VidYTMP4 itself uses only essential storage needed for the site and tools to function. Advertising on this site is served by Google and its partners, whose cookies are described in the Advertising section below. See the Cookie Policy page for details and for how to control cookies in your browser.
VidYTMP4 is a free service, and advertising helps keep it that way. Ads on this site are served through Google AdSense. In connection with those ads, Google and third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website and other websites on the internet.
Your advertising choices. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at google.com/settings/ads. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at youradchoices.com/control (and at aboutads.info). Opting out does not mean you will see no ads; it means the ads you see will not be personalized using those cookies. You can also block or delete cookies entirely in your browser settings, as described in our Cookie Policy — the site's tools will continue to work.
Analytics. We do not currently run third-party analytics on VidYTMP4. If we introduce an analytics service such as Google Analytics in the future, it will use cookies to help us understand aggregate usage of the site (which tools and guides are useful), and we will update this policy and our Cookie Policy when we do.
When you paste a link from a platform such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X or Pinterest, fetching the content you requested necessarily involves our server contacting that platform, and the platform's own terms and privacy practices apply to that interaction. VidYTMP4 is not responsible for how those platforms handle data.
You can contact us at the email address on our Contact page with questions about your data, or to ask what information connected to your email enquiry we hold and request its deletion. Because we do not operate user accounts, most requests can be handled quickly.
If we change how the site handles data in a material way — for example, by expanding advertising or adding analytics — we will update this page and note the new effective date.
