VidYTMP4 provides free tools and information in good faith, but some of what our tools produce is inherently approximate. This page explains what to rely on, and what to treat with care.
Our earnings calculators — including the YouTube Money Calculator and RPM/CPM tools — produce estimates based on the numbers and assumptions you enter, using the transparent formulas shown on each page. They are not financial advice, not a prediction of what any channel will earn, and not official figures from YouTube or any other platform. Real earnings depend on many factors a calculator cannot know, including actual advertiser rates, watch time, audience location, ad formats, seasonality and whether viewers see ads at all. Do not make financial decisions based solely on calculator output.
Our transcript tools return the captions that exist on the video itself — either captions uploaded by the creator or the platform's automatically generated captions. We do not write or correct these captions. Auto-generated captions in particular frequently contain errors in names, technical terms, punctuation and speaker changes, and even creator-uploaded captions can contain mistakes. Always check important passages against the video before quoting or publishing a transcript.
Checkers, extractors and analysers on this site (for example SEO-related checks, tag and metadata viewers, and statistics tools) work with the data that is publicly fetchable at the moment you run them. Platforms change what they expose, counts such as views and likes change constantly, and some figures may be rounded, delayed or unavailable. Treat results as a useful indication, not as an official or guaranteed record.
Downloader tools fetch the media a platform makes publicly available at the time of the request, in the quality offered. We cannot guarantee that any particular video can be downloaded, that a specific quality will be available, or that a tool will keep working after a platform changes its systems. Limitations are stated on each tool page, and where a tool cannot complete a task it will say so rather than pretend otherwise.
VidYTMP4 is an independent website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of YouTube, Google, TikTok, Meta (Facebook or Instagram), X, Pinterest, or any other platform named on this site. All trademarks, product names and logos belong to their respective owners, and their use here is purely descriptive — to explain which platforms a tool works with.
The guides and explanations published on VidYTMP4 are general information provided to help you use the tools and understand how these platforms and formats work. They are not legal, financial, tax or other professional advice, and they are not a substitute for advice about your specific situation. If a decision matters — for example, whether you have the rights to reuse a particular video — check the source and, where necessary, ask a qualified professional or the rights holder.
