VidYTMP4 respects the rights of content creators and copyright owners. This page explains how our tools work in relation to copyright, and how owners can raise a concern with us.
Our downloader and transcript tools act at the individual user's direction: when a user submits the link of a publicly accessible video, the tool fetches that public content so the user can save or read it. Key points:
If you are a copyright owner (or authorised to act for one) and you believe content accessible through our tools infringes your rights, you can report it to us. Please email contact@vidytmp4.site with the subject line "Copyright concern" and include:
Complete reports help us act quickly. We will review each report, and where a concern is valid we will take appropriate steps, which may include disabling the specific functionality involved for the content concerned.
Using VidYTMP4 to infringe copyright is prohibited under our Terms of Service. Where we identify misuse of the tools — for example, automated bulk downloading of others' content or attempts to redistribute downloaded media — we will restrict or block that use. Content owners who notice patterns of misuse are welcome to tell us about them using the same email address.
Please note that VidYTMP4 does not upload or host users' videos, so in most cases the copy of a video a user saved came directly from the platform where it was already public. If the underlying content itself should not be public, the fastest route is usually also to report it on the platform where it appears; we will still review any report sent to us as described above.
We aim to acknowledge copyright reports promptly and to respond after review. Because the site is run by an independent operator, please allow reasonable time for a reply.
